Beautiful Fact - Subalpine Fir needles produce a lemony-tasting tea, traditionally used by Indigenous communities as a cold remedy rich in vitamin C. Its resin has also been applied as a natural medicine for lung ailments.
Leaves - The soft, blue-green needles are flat with blunt, often notched tips. They curve uniformly upward and feature distinctive white linesβtwo on the underside and one on topβcreating a subtle, silvery texture.
