Provincial Tree of New Brunswick, Balsam Fir Botanical Art Print

from CA$30.00

Balsam fir is the official provincial tree of New Brunswick.

Beautiful Fact- Balsam firs are often used as Christmas trees both for their lovely scent and for the fact that the hardy needles remain intact long after the tree has been cut.

Leaves - The needles are 2 to 3 cm long and are flat with a blunt or slightly notched tip. They are attached spirally to the stem; twisted at the base in two rows making the spray appear flattened.
