Provincial Tree of Nova Scotia, Red Spruce Botanical Art Print
Red Spruce is the official tree of Nova Scotia.
Beautiful Fact - Red Spruce is a patient tree—taking 30 to 40 years before producing seeds and reaching full maturity only after 200 years. With a lifespan of up to 400 years, it’s a quiet presence in the forest, contributing to generations of woodland ecosystems. Good seed years occur just once every three to eight years.
Leaves - Red Spruce needles are yellowish-green and gently curved. They are short, four-sided, and grow along the twig in all directions, attached to fine, slightly hairy stems that give the branch a soft texture.
Wall Art Details

• Wrapped in a protective sleeve and shipped in fully recyclable packaging
• Created by Ontario-based botanical artist, Dilan Doty
